What to expect
During a Reiki session, energy flows from the hands of the practitioner to the client. As Reiki flows, it helps remove any physical, mental, or emotional blockages in our bodies and minds. Reiki stimulates your self-healing abilities, so you will usually feel more balanced and recharged after a session.
Reiki sessions are done with the client fully clothed. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. A Reiki practitioner lightly lays hands on different places along the head, torso, back, legs, and feet. The session can also be done without physically touching the body by keeping hands slightly above the body, if the client prefers.
During a Reiki session a client may experience extreme relaxation,
awareness of "Inner Wisdom", emotional release and/or clarity and insight about issues. A client may also experience any of the following physical sensations: warmth, coolness, sensations of tingling, peace, calmness, stomach gurgling, twitching. Trust your body to express what it needs during a session as the energy shifts. As the energy moves during a session a client may also experience, emotional feelings, visual images, colors, or may even fall asleep.
No two Reiki sessions are exactly alike. This is your time. A time to relax and connect to Source. Let go of expectations and imagine complete health and wellness.
